Be sure there is plenty of parking for the moving truck and ramp/lift gate, especially in the city, secure parking spaces outside of condo/apartment building.
Check with parking enforcement/authority in advance of your move about reserving spaces on the street.
Heat and A/C
In the winter turn the heat down or off, the movers will get really over heated if your heat is running.
In the summer turn the A/C down too, we like a cool house!
